This image is created from a photography. Vectorized, colored and additional elements added. Most of my digital illustrations are done by vectorizing. This technique can be used on existing photoes of your loved ones or items. It gives a more simplistic look than real photographys. On the other hand it allows the designer to create a wide range of different styles from one single picture.
